…Pauley Pavilion, home of the UCLA men’s basketball team for the past 46 years is closed for the season. While Pauley undergoes major renovations from top to bottom, the Bruins will be on the road all season. Their new, temporary home will be the LA Sports Arena for 12 games and the Honda Center in Anaheim for four. UCLA played a game at the Sports Arena in 2006, but the venue hasn’t been used on a regular basis since the LA Clippers left for Staples Center in 1999. The Forum in Inglewood was considered, but because of traffic concerns, was not selected.
