Inmotio and STATS Take In-Game Coaching to New Heights for Soccer

STATS LLC announced the company will power Inmotio coaching software with its SportVU player tracking technology for the ultimate in advanced match analysis for soccer.

STATS’ SportVU technology collects real-time motion and positioning data for the ball and participants (players and referee) within the playing field. All aspects of the data collection process are completely non-intrusive to game action. SportVU offers a powerful lineup of unique performance data, highlighting among other things, player speed, distance covered by the players and teams and positional heat maps, all in real time.

The Inmotio software makes it possible to measure and improve both the tactical and the physical performance of the players. Key benefits include the focused preparation of players for a particular fixture, helping to avoid injuries, developing more efficient training methods, and building up individual player profiles.
