wTVision Does Multi-Sports on the First GCC Games

SportStats CG from wTVision was used for 10 different sports, on the GCC Games, in Bahrain, between the 11th and 22nd of October.

During the whole event, 10 operators guaranteed the real-time graphics service to Live Abu Dhabi Media using the SportStats CG software. The event, broadcast by Abu Dhabi Sports Channel, had volleyball, basketball, bowling, soccer, handball, goalball, swimming, table tennis, cycling and athletics competitions, with wTVision being the graphics service provider for every one of them. wTVision’s designers created all graphic templates, which were based on the competition’s logo.

Every text was in Arabic and all translation services, made by on-site translators, were provided by the client. Several technologies were integrated with wTVision’s software, such as scoreboards, timing systems, interactive graphics, video servers and different graphics platforms, according to the sport being played and the desired effect.

The fast timing integration, for sports such as athletics and swimming, and the operator’s experience and SportStats CG software’s great flexibility made a very successful project for the client, Live Abu Dhabi Media, and the Bahrain Olympic Committee very pleased with the final result.
