Central Michigan University Seeks Coordinator of Game Day Productions

Central Michigan University is seeking to fill the position of Coordinator of Game Day Productions. The position is responsible for live web streaming of events and equipment maintenance and engineering.

Additional job responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing gameday video board scripts; pre-producing gameday content for video boards; and directing video staff for live event productions.

The position also entrusts the responsibility for all phases of the gameday experience related to video boards, including stats and timing interface, as well as maintaining in-house video feeds and adapt to changing environment.

Candidate must also be able to engineer and trouble-shoot all video operations equipment and take responsibility for creating work orders and follow through with Daktronics on equipment maintenance, while working closely with and serving as a backup to the Coordinator of Multimedia.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in broadcasting, digital media, or related field; 1 year experience in live sports videoboard production; Experience in collegiate athletics or professional sports; Experience with Daktronics equipment.
  • Successful applicant will display editing skills and graphical capabilities. Candidate must be deadline-oriented, have solid communication skills, and work well under pressure.
