StageTec Nexus Routes Audio for Jimmy Fallon’s Super Bowl Shows

As part of NBC’s Super Bowl festivities, television late night host Jimmy Fallon is broadcasting four shows from the Hilbert Circle Theatre in the heart of Indianapolis.

To supply all of the equipment for the temporary installation, Wireless First, a Clair Global company, was selected to handle audio. Wireless First added Stagetec Nexus to support the audio routing.

All of the audio signals from all stage sources to FOH, PA and monitoring and to the Music Mix Mobile and Game Creek Trucks parked outside are being transported through the Nexus system.

The Nexus network comprises of 1,728 inputs and 1,984 outputs. Central to the system is the Nexus Star, which connects 12 remote base devices throughout the theatre and the OB trucks. Several consoles connect via MADI including FOH, Music and Main Production and the rest have direct connections to the NEXUS via AES/EBU.
