NAB 2012: Bexel Focuses on New and Used Broadcast Technology

Bexel will host two booths—Bexel Rentals (Booth C6833) and Bexel Professional Sales (Booth C9046), each highlighting the company’s expertise and diverse solutions for live broadcast events.

UPDATE: Bexel’s booth will also highlight parent company Vitec Group’s recent acquisition of Camera Corps, Bexel’s long-time distributor and rental agent.

“Bexel continues to offer clients the latest in broadcast technology when creating innovative packages for the industry—from large sporting and entertainment events to higher-end reality television productions,” says Scott Nardelli, SVP Sales and Marketing, Bexel. “By having the best maintained equipment backed by our unparalleled engineering, technical and logistics team, Bexel is able to create onsite portable systems that provide efficient workflow solutions for our clients, with premium gear and advanced technology.”

With a continued focus on live and recorded events and content production, NAB is a show where Bexel connects with new and existing clients to discuss upcoming projects, explore new technologies and review all that NAB and the many exhibitors have to offer.

“Bexel frequently introduces new technologies to the market so we are not only exhibitors but also customers, looking for the next product or solution that can help our clients improve their workflow, provide new ways to capture content or just improve the bottom line,” adds Nardelli.

Rounding out Bexel’s service offerings is its Professional Sales Group that includes new and used equipment sales (BVG). Bexel is a dealer and distributor of top products in the world of fiber optics, professional audio, and RF Over Fiber. Specialty brands represented include Calrec audio consoles, TSL audio/power monitoring, and Camera Corps robotic camera systems. Calrec consoles are widely accepted as the premier mixers for live and recorded television production, and the Camera Corps Q-Ball system has rapidly become the preferred unit for miniature remote controlled cameras and a tool used by many major sports leagues and network broadcasters. Bexel’s custom audio, RF solutions and managed antennae systems have also been integrated in many television studios and networks throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Bexel Professional Sales, which includes the used sales unit formerly known as BVG, sells used broadcast hardware, providing an alternative to new equipment purchases while also handling the entire range of audio and video products. Based in Burbank, BVG is the only major used equipment broker/dealer to provide certified bench engineering support and warranty coverage for its products.  In addition, Bexel will be pre-selling equipment that was purchased new for the Olympics and will be available for delivery post Olympics.
