XOS Digital Gears Up for Q2 Growth

XOS Digital, a global provider of sports video technology, announced the promotions of two long-term employees in its Orlando headquarters. Mark Hudgins was promoted to executive vice president of finance and administration and Anna Neri was promoted to vice president of marketing and affiliate networks. The announcement was made today by Chris McCleary, CEO, XOS Digital.

Both Hudgins and Neri have worked their way up within the company, having served in a variety of capacities. Hudgins joined XOS Digital during its founding year (as XOS Technologies, Inc.) in November 1999, while still a business student at the University of Central Florida. During his career at XOS, he has received numerous promotions including roles as corporate controller, vice president of operations, and president and general manager for the company’s Integrated Solutions Group (ISG) product line. In the latter role, Hudgins was tasked with profit and loss responsibility, and managed sales, product marketing and development, operations and customer support functions for advanced digital media technology installations within the collegiate and professional sports markets.

Under his management ISG grew substantially during the last five years. During that time ISG grew at a 40 percent annual growth rate. Hudgins helped to transition the former division from its narrow focus on A/V integration to a full service product line that provides design, product development, system integration, and services.

Due to the success he achieved for the company’s founding product line year after year, Hudgins received his latest promotion to oversee the finance and administration team, and to take the company’s financial performance to the next level.

Neri’s promotion derived from consistent successes with the company’s marketing, public relations and affiliate programs. Originally hired in 2006, she brought all facets of corporate communications in-house as the company’s public relations manager. During that time, she focused on key constituents including customers, business partners, vendors, news media and shareholders. She also provided media relations counsel to expand XOS Digital’s brand awareness.

By 2009, Neri was promoted to director level and later rebranded the company from XOS Technologies to XOS Digital. During this time, she developed and implemented the XOS Digital brand identity, mission, vision, and core attributes.

Within a year, Neri was promoted to create the SEC Affiliate Network for the Southeastern Conference. Since that time, she has expanded the program to other conferences including the Mid-American, West Coast and Big 12 (launching July 2012) conferences. Overall, the collective XOS Affiliate Network currently provides originally produced sports highlights, interview segments and event live streams for nearly 400 accredited news outlets nationwide, and has made comScore’s top 10 list for various performance metrics.

Neri’s most recent promotion has brought her back to her communications roots, as she oversees both the Marketing and Affiliate Network departments. She now manages the continued growth of the XOS Affiliate Network while also responsible for corporate communications, marketing initiatives and the development of the strategic positioning of the company. It also marks the first time in five years that the company appointed a female executive to its senior leadership team, which has previously had four in its nearly 15-year history.

“We serve a highly dynamic and demanding industry,” McCleary said. “Both Mark and Anna have consistently proven their ability to stay at the forefront of their respective areas of expertise to help XOS best accommodate the evolving nature of the sports digital media market.”

Hudgins holds a bachelor degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida and currently resides in downtown Orlando. Active within the community, he has coached Little League Soccer, attends First Baptist Church of Orlando and participates in charity golf tournaments, such as Brian Hill’s “Play for a Cure.”  He has also participated in the “Hope for Stanley Alliance,” a volunteer initiative founded by the UCF DeVos Sports Business Management Program, to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims in New Orleans.

Neri holds a bachelor of science degree in journalism from the University of Florida in Gainesville. As a resident of the greater Orlando area, she is actively involved in community service events including those hosted by the Edgewood Children’s Ranch and Rock Pink (breast cancer awareness). Neri also enjoys speaking opportunities through her alma mater’s Public Relations Student Society of America.
