Stream TV’s Glasses-Free 3D Technology is Nearly Here

Customretailer.net reports major partnership and product-availability announcements made at CEA Line Shows

During a mid-afternoon press conference at the CEA Line Shows and Digital Downtown Conference on Wednesday, Stream TV Networks CEO Mathu  Rajan  made a number of breaking-news announcements about the company’s proprietary Ultra-D 3D-without-glasses technology.

The 3D-without-glasses TVs are expected to be available sometime this fall for the Asian consumer market, and sometime in the late fall for the North American market.

Possibly the most exciting announcement was Rajan’s promise that for the first time in television history, the upcoming Olympic Games in London will be viewable in 3D-without-glasses technology in three cities: New York, Philadelphia and London.

Blondies Sports, a popular sports bar located at 212 West 79th Street in Manhattan, was the first New York City-based company to sign up for the privilege of screening the 3D-without-glasses Summer Olympics.

More announcements will be made soon, Rajan said, regarding other establishments where the 3D-without-glasses Olympics can be seen. In New York City, CompUSA and J&R will soon be offering demos of the technology, “so the consumer will actually be able to see the Ultra-D TV in action, and bring their own judgment to the quality of the product.”
