Adtec Digital Celebrates 27th Anniversary
For the past 27 years, Nashville, TN-based Adtec Digital has provided hardware and software broadcast solutions for contribution, distribution, studio, commercial insertion, and professional video playback applications. Incorporated on September 12, 1985, Adtec has set its sights on developing equipment and solutions that serve the global broadcast and professional audio-visual markets.
“It feels great to be in business for this long,” says Ron Johnson, president of Adtec. “I’m glad we offer products and services to a receptive client base. We’ll continue to strive to meet the needs and demands of our partners in the years to come.”
Adtec started as a company manufacturing VCR controllers, switchers, and character generators for the closed circuit, cable, and broadcast television markets. Since then, Adtec has grown to be one of the premier developers of innovative digital video technology and today, thousands of Adtec products are in use all over the world. In fact, Adtec Digital products and support services have been an iatrical part of broadcast solutions for some of the most watched events; from the Queen’s Jubilee to the 2012 London Olympic Games, and both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions.
In the years ahead, Adtec Digital will continue to broaden its product portfolio and offer value-added solutions to its customers.
