Broadcast Services International, CBC Partner for 2015 Pan/Parapan America Games

Broadcast Services International (BSI-TV) has been chosen as “leading technology solutions partner” by CBC as they prepare for the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games.

The CBC/Radio-Canada has partnered with BSI-TV to provide engineering and technical production throughout the broadcast. CBC/Radio-Canada was awarded the host and domestic broadcast rights, further strengthening CBC/Radio-Canada’s commitment to broadcasting amateur sport in Canada while telling the story of talented Canadian athletes as they compete on the national, intercontinental, and world stage.

The agreement ensures that Canadians will be able to enjoy comprehensive coverage in both official languages and on multiple platforms.  Specific broadcast details will be made available at a later date.

This will be a truly home-grown enterprise as CBC/Radio-Canada has partnered with respected Canadian company BSI-TV to provide engineering and technical production throughout the broadcast.

BSI-TV has been providing leading edge technical production to the remote television business for more than 35 years. With credits that include more than 18 Olympic Games, Major World Championships, and more than 12 Emmys to its credit, BSI –TV is proud to have been chosen by CBC to work with them on this important event, one year before Rio.

In the past year, BSI-TV has provided technical production, Airpac facilities and crew for World Championships in Shanghai, Daegu, Korea, Euro 2012, Ryder Cup and at the London Olympic Games.
