Miranda Offers Professional Workflow for Worship at WFX 2012

Miranda Technologies, a global provider of integrated solutions for production, playout and delivery systems for television broadcasters and multi-system operators, will feature compelling solutions that can help worship facilities improve production workflows, reduce costs and streamline operations at WFX 2012. On display will be a range of Miranda production solutions that includes routing, branding and monitoring, and fiber connectivity solutions from Telecast Fiber Systems.

Miranda’s long broadcast industry pedigree delivers the advantages of reliable broadcast quality and extensive functionality driving more complex live production workflows and multiplatform content delivery for houses of worship. Traditional AV systems deployed for religious broadcast operations can often be limited in scalability and functionality, particularly in view of increasing demands for multiplatform delivery. Miranda delivers solutions that are simultaneously affordable and uncompromising.

Miranda’s Marco Lopez, senior vice president for Infrastructure, Routers and Monitoring said, “Miranda and Telecast are acknowledged worldwide market leaders in high-performance, cost-effective live production solutions for traditional broadcast facilities. Because worship facilities large and small increasingly require production systems that offer more capabilities than traditional AV equipment, many are turning to Miranda to discuss the benefits of technologies tried and tested in more mainstream broadcast facilities.”

The live production workflow solution featured at WFX includes Miranda’s NVISION Compact CQX router, which offers “clean and quiet” outputs for seamless transitions as well as support for all standard video and audio formats. This router’s design also delivers cost savings by eliminating the need to purchase additional input channels typically required to supplement entry level systems.

Also part of the production workflow solution featured by Miranda are award-winning Densité modules including the LGK-3901, a low cost, single card channel branding processor capable of inserting up to five layers of graphics into 3Gbps/HD/SD; a Kaleido-X multiviewer with compact Kaleido-RCP2 control panel for maximum scalability and flexibility; and server card modules to effortlessly capture and play back pre-recorded content. All are integral to a seamless, tightly integrated production workflow system that is easy to install, easy to operate and highly reliable.

Telecast Fiber Systems solutions will also feature prominently with a demonstration of the compact CopperHead HD/SDI and analog fiber optic camera transceiver, which solves the size, weight and transmission problems associated with ordinary coax and multicore cabling.

Lopez added, “Scalable, professional broadcast technology is now an affordable tool for worship facilities of almost any size and can be a major contributor to the distribution of enhanced, engaging content to congregations whether they be in-venue or global. What we offer is more than a suggestion. It’s a single, definitive answer to cost-effective house-of-worship production.”
