Pac-12 Networks Now Available on iPhone, iPod Touch

Pac-12 Networks, the seven full-time native HD linear networks dedicated solely to the Pac-12 Conference, are now available to customers on their iPhone and iPod Touch devices through the Pac-12 Now fan experience. The iPhone and iPod Touch are the latest devices activated by Pac-12 Digital, joining its Apple counterpart iPad, along with Macs and PCs in the arsenal of viewing options for consumers of Pac-12 Networks high-quality programming and content.

The consistent growth of the Pac-12 Now app across multiple devices has been the primary component of Pac-12 Networks’ commitment to building out state-of-the-art technology infrastructure to serve its high-quality content.

Pac-12 Now is available on the Web at video.Pac-12.com and in the App Store for iPhones, iPod Touch and iPads. Pac-12 Now offers fans the ability to authenticate with their TV provider username to watch the 24/7 live Pac-12 Networks wherever they are. Additional features of Pac-12 Now app for iPhone and iPod Touch include:

• Unique programming guide for easy navigation to live and upcoming content
• Condensed games and other on demand video
• Continuously updated editorial and feature video programming available to all fans
• Live scoreboard providing the most up-to-date scores
• TV provider support equivalent to those on iPad and Web

Users can view all seven networks, switch between multiple live events, and enjoy coverage not available on their regional television network. Additionally, fans have access to an unprecedented amount of video content produced by Pac-12 Networks and our member universities, including highlights, feature stories, game recaps, and exclusive Pac-12 Now video content.

This Saturday, iPhone and iPod Touch users with Pac-12 Now access through their TV provider can watch a doubleheader of college football action featuring Colorado vs. No. 10 USC and Washington at Arizona, in addition to Pac-12 Network personalities Rick Neuheisel, Curtis Conway and Jeremy Bloom break down all the action right from their device.

At present, millions of subscribers to Time Warner Cable, Cox, DISH, FiOS by Frontier, BendBroadband, Bright House, Canby Telcom, Crestview Cable, Rancho Murieta, Suddenlink, TCT West can log in to view Pac-12 Networks broadcast channels. Pac-12 Networks continues working with other distributors to enable access for their subscribers.

Pac-12 Digital worked closely with Ooyala, an innovator in personalized video technology, to develop Pac-12 Now. The two companies are building unique, cutting edge fan experiences across all devices.
