3D Academy will offer 3D Training in December 2012
Story Highlights
Stereoscopy News reports that 3D Stereo MEDIA (Liège, Belgium, December 3-6, 2012) will feature a 3D academy offering a small-group training session mostly dedicated to 3D movie-making and 3D stereography. The training session covers the hard, technical aspects of 3D film-making, as well as its softer, artistic aspects.
The program consists of a balanced mix of lectures presenting the key concepts, of demonstrations using state-of-the-art equipments, and of commented screenings of excerpts of stereoscopic 3D films. The equipments used for teaching and/or experimentation comprise stereoscopic cameras, 3D rigs, post-production equipment and various visualization means. A typical experiment involves stereoscopic capture, various parameters adjustments, and a direct visualization of the effects on an 3D screen.
