Stereoscopy News reports that the Chinese Engadget web site (here, but in Chinese), Lytro just released its brand new lightfield camera update. The video here under shows clearly the ability of this type of cameras to record image with enough depth information to produce stereoscopic content. Mac OS X and Windows applications are now available. The manual mode allows for exposure settings from 8 seconds to 1/250th and for ISO values from 80 to 3200. The highest version of the Lytro camera is available for around 460 USD.
