Optimum TV to GO Adds NFL Network and NFL RedZone

Cablevision Systems Corp. has launched NFL Network and NFL RedZone on Optimum TV to GO.

Optimum TV customers who receive the networks as part of their cable service can now utilize the “Watch NFL Network” feature to view NFL Network and NFL RedZone anywhere in the United States, on any Internet-connected computer or tablet. Optimum is the first television provider to offer out-of-the-home viewing of both the NFL Network and RedZone on computers and tablet devices.

With “Watch NFL Network,” Optimum TV customers can view live streams of NFL Network and NFL RedZone programming, including Thursday Night Football games, the new morning show NFL AM, Sunday NFL GameDay shows and much more. Customers can simultaneously watch the NFL Network and/or NFL RedZone on multiple computers and tablet devices.

“We know many of our customers have been enjoying access to both the NFL Network and NFL RedZone this football season. So we are very pleased to be the first to offer these popular channels on personal computers and tablets – anywhere, anytime – as part of our expanding Optimum TV to GO offering,” said Bradley Feldman, vice president of video product management for Cablevision Systems Corp.

“NFL Media continues to look for innovative ways to distribute our great content on as many platforms as possible, and this authentication agreement with Cablevision falls squarely within that goal,” said Hans Schroeder, senior vice president of media strategy and development for the NFL.

NFL Network is included in the Optimum Preferred, Optimum Silver, Optimum Gold or the Optimum Sports & Entertainment Pak. NFL RedZone, which airs on Sundays throughout the regular season, is available in the Optimum Sports & Entertainment Pak.
