On Call Communications Executive Team Welcomes Tim Jackson

On Call Communications announced that Tim Jackson has joined On Call Communications as Chief Operating Officer. With over 25 years in the telecommunications and media/entertainment industries, Jackson brings a wealth of experience along with a keen sense for industry trends.

“The addition of Tim Jackson to our executive team will be a key element to the global growth of our QuickSPOT managed IP satellite networks” says Jim Gilbert, CEO of On Call.  “Tim stands out for his strong track record leading business units in both successful product management and strong sales growth.”

Most recently, Jackson led Intelsat’s media product management group, with global responsibility for media products and P&L for the world’s largest satellite communications company. He executed a strong turnaround within the group launching new products, growing sales and enhancing value for Intelsat’s existing media client base. Prior to leading the media business unit, Jackson was Regional Vice President for North America Cable and Emerging Media Sales at Intelsat and held a variety of sales and product management jobs at Intelsat and predecessor company PanAmSat.

Jackson is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.  He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Interlochen, MI.
