Aspera Selected by amana group For Delivery of Media Content

Aspera, Inc., creators of next-generation software technologies that move the world’s large data at maximum speed today announced at Inter Bee that amana holdings, inc., a Japan-based conglomerate of visual communication businesses has deployed Aspera to power its file transfer and workflow management system.

Headquartered in Tokyo, amana group engage in a wide range of media production activities: TV commercial and web advertising content, visual asset management services, and computer graphics including 3D, CG video for film, television and games, animation and visuals for advertising.

With this broad set of services and customers, amana group needed a way to quickly and efficiently transfer content for internal collaboration during the creative process, including mobile access for sending and receiving advertising samples. After an evaluation of many file transfer options, the Aspera Connect Server, Mobile client centralized management Console, and Aspera Software Developer’s Kit (SDK) were chosen to distribute files, automate workflow, provide detailed reporting, and tightly integrate the entire Aspera platform with their internal systems.
