Filming 3D is 'Humiliating': Tucci

TheAge.com.au reports that Hollywood star Stanley Tucci has confessed he hates working with CGI in movies and finds filming them humiliating, despite starring in the new 3D adventure Jack the Giant Slayer.

Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada and The Hunger Games) admitted sitting around in skin-tight suits covered in ping pong balls waiting for the special effects to be right was boring and embarrassing, and joked one day he fears actors will be replaced entirely.

“I can’t stand 3D. I really can’t. I’m happy to go watch it but I don’t work shooting in 3D. It’s not fun. Nobody will tell you it’s so fun shooting in 3D,” Tucci said.
