Aframe Streamlines Video Production With Private Cloud

The Sports Video Group is pleased to welcome Aframe as a corporate sponsor. The company provides cloud video production and asset management and also offers capabilities in collaboration, review, and approval; archive; and tagging. Video professionals around the world — including the Olympic Delivery Authority, the ATP World Tour, and major U.S. sports broadcast networks ¾ rely on Aframe to organize and streamline video production or as an adjunct to existing media-asset management (MAM).

“Every day, we see more sports-related organizations, broadcasters, and production companies adopting Aframe in order to deliver a better product and save time and money,” says Mark Overington, president of Aframe North America, based in the Boston area. “We are extremely excited to be joining the Sports Video Group and working closely with its members. SVG is the premier organization for communicating the benefits that suppliers like Aframe bring to the sports industry.”

According to the company, Aframe makes people more productive from the first production meeting all the way through to the final edit by removing the storing, sharing, and delivery frustrations of video production.

Users upload their raw video footage from wherever they are in the world to Aframe’s private cloud, securely store it there, and share it with anyone anywhere as they collaborate on TV, film, corporate video, or advertising spots. The timecode-specific metadata that Aframe users generate can be transferred directly from the cloud into any of the top-three NLE platforms. Once there, the metadata relinks with the original media — automatically retaining all user changes. If desired, Aframe can provide indexing services that make video discoverable and expedite finding the perfect clip.

Aframe also can serve as a cloud-based MAM architecture to centralize a library of production and broadcast-ready video assets and supporting documentation. NAB 2013 attendees can visit Aframe in the North Hall, Cloud Computing Pavilion (Booth N5012), Stand CP13-15.
