One America News Network Signs Long-Term Agreement with LiveU

National cable news channel One America News Network has signed a long-term agreement with LiveU to provide its LU70 solution for its live newsgathering operation.

LiveU Logo“With our production news operations and talent located on both coasts, LiveU’s solutions gives us the flexibility to send news crews out around the country to gather breaking news stories for our viewers and transmit live stories to any production operations center,” said Robert Herring, Sr., CEO of One America News Network.  “As an example, our crews in Washington, D.C. utilized our LU70 unit to facilitate an immediate live interview with Senator Mike Lee, who has been threatening to shut-down the federal government over ObamaCare, while our on-air talent, Rick Amato, who was located at our West Coast Studio conducted the interview. Not long ago, this type of interview would have taken more time and expensive uplink trucks.”

“One America News Network’s interview of Senator Lee that was coordinated and setup cross-country within minutes is an example of how easy and cost-effective it is for modern media outlets to build or retool their live newsgathering operation around LiveU,” said Mike Savello, LiveU’s VP of Sales.

LiveU’s flagship LU70 product is the industry’s first bonded 3G/4G LTE backpack with proprietary RF technology for superior resiliency, up to 1080 HD video and low latency for a satellite-like experience.
