Blackmagic Design 4K Production Camera Available for $2,995

Blackmagic Design’s Blackmagic Production Camera 4K is now shipping and available worldwide for $2,995. Features include a Super 35mm sensor, professional global shutter, an EF and ZE-compatible lens mount, and capture in ProRes.

The new 4K camera from Blackmagic Design that is available for $2,995.

The Blackmagic Production Camera 4K includes a built-in SSD recorder, rechargeable battery and a large 5-inch LCD touchscreen. In addition to focusing and monitoring shots, the touchscreen also lets customers enter metadata and change camera settings all on a single easy to use interface. Customers also get a full copy of DaVinci Resolve for quality color grading and finishing for Mac OS X and Windows computers.

The camera also has 6G-SDI output for 10-bit HD and Ultra HD.
