The Studio – B&H and Canon invite the members of the industry to come enjoy an evening with revolutionary cinematographer Shane Hurlbut, ASC, at the prestigious New York DGA Theater on Thursday, May 15 from 6 – 9:30 p.m.

His constant risk taking and experimentation have pushed the boundaries of filmmaking into unchartered territory. From his use of HDSLR cameras for major Hollywood motion picture films to his early adoption of 4K technology, Shane has developed a truly distinctive approach to his work.

Attendees will hear how Hurlbut mixes his creative vision with his craft to produce exceptionally compelling content, including the recent box office blockbuster Need For Speed, the first studio picture to feature the Canon C500 as an A-Camera for principal photography.
