NEP continues to modernize its fleet of mobile production trucks. After installing L-S-B Broadcast Technologies’ IP-based Virtual Studio Manager (VSM) in its SS22 truck last year, NEP has decided to implement ten more VSM systems this year.

Part of this investment in new technology will be the use of VSM for all of the ten HD mobile production trucks. The aim of using VSM as the control tool is to provide a flexible solution to fulfil NEPs customer’s needs. VSM allows for innovative and simplified operational workflows to both engineering and production staff.

“VSM provides us a very sophisticated and efficient tool to automate and streamline routine processes in the setup and configuration of Outside Broadcast facilities,” says George Hoover, CTO at NEP. “Faster setup is extremely important to our clients as it directly impact their bottom line on projects.”
