Comcast SportsNet is once again ready to deliver another season of Chicago Blackhawks hockey with 51 live regular season Blackhawks games (26 home, 25 away), four pre-season games, along with in-depth pre/post-game shows, extensive nightly coverage on SportsNet Central and the most thorough 24/7 online Blackhawks coverage to date on CSNChicago.com.

CSN ChicagoThe 2014-15 Chicago Blackhawks regular season on Comcast SportsNet gets underway with the season opener on Thursday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. CT as NHL superstars Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Duncan Keith, Marian Hossa, Patrick Sharp, Brent Seabrook, Corey Crawford, Brandon Saad, Andrew Shaw, Bryan Bickell, Niklas Hjalmarsson, veteran newcomer Brad Richards and the rest of the ’14-‘15 season squad travel to face-off against the Central Division rival Dallas Stars.

The season premiere of Chevy Blackhawks Pregame Live sets up CSN’s season opening night telecast on Oct. 9 at 7:00 PM with hosts Pat Boyle and Steve Konroyd.  Face-off will take place at 7:30 PM featuring the “Hall of Fame” duo of Pat Foley (NOTE: Foley has been selected as the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award winner for outstanding contributions as a hockey broadcaster and will be honored by the Hockey Hall of Fame and National Hockey League Broadcasters’ Association Nov. 17 for his official HOF induction) and Eddie Olczyk (inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame Class of 2012) calling the game action.  Hawk Ford Blackhawks Postgame Live immediately follows the game highlighted by Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville’s post-game press conference (to also be streamed live on CSNChicago.com after every Blackhawks home game telecast this season), along with live locker room player interviews, full highlights and complete post-game analysis.  Plus – CSNChicago.com Blackhawks “Insider” Tracey Myers will make regular on-air appearances throughout the season on Blackhawks Pre/Postgame Live and during home game telecasts.

 In addition, Comcast SportsNet will also be carrying the Blackhawks home opener on Saturday, October 11 vs. Buffalo for a 7:30 PM face-off.  Opening night coverage — LIVE from the United Center — gets underway at 6:30 PM with a special one-hour edition of Chevy Blackhawks Pre-Game Live, also live from the UC.  Hawk Ford Blackhawks Postgame Live immediately follows the game with a full recap of the opening night’s festivities.
