Pulselive Develops Official ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Mobile App

Pulselive released the official ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 app for iOS and Android. The app is optimized for both phone and tablet devices and is available for free download from the App Store and Google Play.
The app will have a number of unique features designed to enhance the user experience and enjoyment of ICC’s flagship tournament, including access to the new ICC Match Centre which will keep fans up to date on all the live scores and ball-by-ball commentary, as well as, for the first time, integrating insightful analysis using Hawk-Eye’s ball-tracking data.

“We are delighted to be the digital partner of the ICC and are proud to launch the official ICC World Cup Cricket application,” says Wyndham Richardson, Managing Director of Pulselive. “It promises to be a huge event and we wanted to create an app that combines great content with interactivity to deliver a fully immersive fan experience.”

For fans that missed the live action, the app will contain in-match video highlights of all the most important moments of the tournament including key dismissals, magic moments, big innings and the post-match press conferences as well as details of fixtures, results, exclusive interviews and news.

Pulselive, who have also launched a fully responsive tournament website to compliment the app, hold official partner status with both Twitter and Facebook, which has enabled the development of a number of interactive features, where users can express opinions through polls and via the Social Hub that will sync with live TV broadcast.

“The ICC is committed to growing the game of cricket globally and serving cricket fans in the best possible way.” says Campbell Jamieson, GM at the ICC. “In Pulselive we have a digital provider that understands our needs as a federation, as well as the needs of cricket fans. The development of this mobile app allows us to deliver the ICC Cricket World Cup directly to fans all over the world.”
