CABSAT 2015: L-S-B Broadcast Technologies To Demo Virtual Studio Manager

From March 10 to 12, L-S-B Broadcast Technologies will be at the CABSAT Show in Dubai to present its VSM product. VSM is the leading broadcast control and monitoring system and the manufacturer will be located at Hall 3, Stand 304.

At CABSAT 2015 the company will show the full range of product functionalities with workflows for Radio MCRs, TV MCRs, Studios, and Mobile environments. New features at the booth will include improved functionalities for OB environments. This new feature-set includes efficient labelling functions, audio shuffle and breakaway possibilities as well as the possibility for de-centralized workflow and system management that simplifies configuration, workflows, and operation in daily business. The goal of these efforts is to reduce configuration and preparation time in the mobile broadcast environment – a major cost saving enabler.

L-S-B Broadcast Technologies GmbH, located in Germany, is the leading manufacturer of control and monitoring systems for radio and television production. The company’s core product is the IP-based Virtual Studio Manager (VSM), a universal control system. As a single-source solution, VSM works independently of any single manufacturer and thus represents a flexible and powerful answer to technical challenges in the fields of production and broadcasting.

With major project successes in the Middle East over the past year, L-S-B has proven to be a valid partner for the broadcast business industry in the area. As an example, VSM is a major component in BeIN sports’ brand new facility in Qatar. Al Arab News in Bahrain also built a new facility to which VSM was the central control system. One of the most interesting projects is the use of VSM at the Mecca in Saudi Arabia – the first phase is completed and a second phase is planned in 2015.
