Click Effects Partners With Sony in South Korea

Click Effects announced its first project with Sony Korea, the Suwon KT Wiz Park in Suwon S.K., home of the newest member of the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO), the KT Wiz.

KT is one of the leading telecom companies in Korea, hence they have adopted many ICT features into the stadium such as NFC technology smart ticket through speed gate, NFC chip in the uniforms to give access to the player intro page, and smart guide of the stadium with BLE.

In keeping with the goal of making this a top stadium in Korea for in-game entertainment, Sony Korea and the KT Wiz have selected Click Effects CrossFire to control the 28m x 9m LED board.  Using a simple point and click, Click Effects systems deliver scheduled and live impulse video clips, audio tracks, graphics, animations, and sponsor ads that not only entertain audiences, but also provide a powerful source of revenue-generating opportunities.

Click Effects has redefined the delivery, management and control of content in stadiums, arenas and parks throughout the world.  The ability to centralize content delivery for all displays, including broadcast LED, fascia and suite video, allows Click Effects to streamline live event production in an unparalleled fashion.  Since its debut in 1993, Click Effects has helped elevate live event production at The Super Bowl, Olympic Games, World Series, Ryder Cup, NCAA Final Four, US Open Tennis Championships, Stanley Cup, and NBA Championships.

Click Effects products are chosen more often than any other platform in the industry, trusted by approximately 75% of NBA, MLS, NHL, NFL and Major and Minor League Baseball teams, hundreds of D1 Colleges and Universities in the US, as well as numerous iconic stadiums worldwide.

“We are very excited about our new exclusive partnership with Click Effects in Korea. With Click Effects, we are now able to offer the Korean Baseball League the same level of in- game entertainment as is used throughout Major League Baseball in the US.  We look forward to rapid expansion not only in baseball, but in the sports industry as a whole with Click Effects!” says Noda Keiichi, President of Sony Korea Professional Solutions Div.

Sony Korea is the exclusive dealer of Click Effects products for South Korea.
