In yet another step toward further consolidation of the remote-production industry, F&F Productions has entered into an agreement to acquire the HD Mobile Unit assets of Crosscreek Television. This deal comes after a long-standing relationship between the two companies and is expected to be finalized by June 15. Crosscreeks’ four HD mobile production units will be integrated into F&F’s signature GTX series and will become part of F&F’s team of engineering and support staff. This acquisition will make F&F Productions the largest facilities provider based in the Southeast providing services throughout North America, Caribbean, and parts of South America.

Spruce McRee will continue on with F&F as a special adviser to the President and will oversee key client accounts. In addition, some of the engineering and support staff will continue as part of the team to help with the transition.

The deal follows NEP Broadcasting’s acquisition of more than 10 companies in the past three years and the additions of four companies to Alliance Productions this year (Kodiak Mobile, TL Mobile, CMG Mobile Productions, and Raycom Sports).
