PROMISE Technology Rolls Out Pegasus2 R2+, SANLink2 16G FC Thunderbolt Solutions

PROMISE Technology has released the Pegasus2 R2+ and SANLink2 16G FC. Both are now globally available through PROMISE’s network of distributors and value added resellers. Unveiled at April’s NAB Show in Las Vegas where it was named Videomaker’s Best Storage Solution, Pegasus2 R2+ is an affordable Thunderbolt 2 desktop hardware RAID 0/1 storage – with USB 3.0. The new SANLink2 16G FC is a compact device that allows a Thunderbolt 2 host computer to directly connect to a Fibre Channel SAN, doubling the speed of the previous generation 8 Gb FC.

Pegasus2 R2+
Pegasus2 R2+ is a Thunderbolt 2 hardware RAID 0/1 storage solution with USB 3.0 that includes two hot-swappable hard disk drives, a media bay, and CF/SD Reader Pod. An optional SSD Reader Pod and HDD Pod are available for convenient data exchange. Plus, each Pod comes with USB 3.0 Micro-B for independent access, providing photographers and videographers the convenience to take a Pod and work elsewhere away from their editing suite.
