Dome Productions Acquires Mobile Assets of CBC/Radio-Canada

Canadian mobile-production–facilities provider Dome Productions made its latest addition public today, announcing that the company has acquired CBC/Radio-Canada’s mobile assets. The purchase includes CBC/Radio-Canada’s three HD production units, three support units, and all associated assets.

“We are thrilled to add these trucks — which we are already very familiar with — to our ever growing fleet,” says Mary Ellen Carlyle, SVP/GM, Dome Productions, in an official release. “Our business has grown considerably over the past several years, and this added capacity will help us better serve our intercompany partners as well as continue to expand our presence in the U.S.”

Dome Productions and CBC/Radio-Canada have also agreed that Dome will be the sole supplier for the rental of mobile TV-production facilities for both CBC and Radio-Canada in the future.
