TVNewscheck.com reports that in major milestone, a key subcommittee adopts a transmission system reflecting a compromise among the major system proponents, including Samsung, LG Electronics and Sinclair Broadcast Group-backed ONE Media. Canon Unveils 4K UHD Wide-Angle Broadcast Lens

Canon U.S.A. announced the CJ12ex4.3B portable 4K 2/3-inch broadcast lens, the world’s first 4K wide-angle lens for use with 4K broadcast cameras featuring 2/3-inch sensors.
