Seen on Screen: MLB Network’s Offseason Programming Highlighted by BBWAA Awards; ONE WORLD SPORTS Documents Cosmos’ Trip to Cuba

MLB Network’s live offseason programming began Wednesday, November 4, and will feature exclusive coverage of several end-of-season awards throughout the month of November. Starting on Monday, Nov. 9, at 8:00 p.m. ET, the winners of the Players Choice Awards will be revealed, followed by the announcement of the finalists for the BBWAA Awards on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 6:00 p.m. ET. The winners of the Defensive Player of the Year Awards will be announced on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 6:00 p.m. ET, and the recipients of the Silver Slugger Awards presented by Louisville Slugger will be named on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 6:00 p.m. ET. On Monday, Nov. 16, at 6:00 p.m. ET, MLB Network will dedicate four straight days to the BBWAA Awards and the exclusive announcements of the winners of the Rookie of the Year, Manager of the Year, Cy Young, and Most Valuable Player Awards…

MLBNetwork…ONE WORLD SPORTS will premiere A Bridge to Cuba, a documentary recapping the historic journey of the New York Cosmos’ trip to Havana. The feature will debut on Saturday, November 7, at 4:00 p.m. E.T. immediately following the live North American Soccer League (NASL) Championship Semifinal match between the Cosmos and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. ONE WORLD SPORTS accompanied the Cosmos to Havana in June to telecast a friendly match against the Cuban National Team.
