AES67 Is On Its Way to Becoming Universal Standard

RadioMagOnline.com reports that there are currently a number of audio-over-IP formats being used in the audio industry, from Audinate’s Dante to LiveWire Plus to Ravenna. But even with all these different formats, according to Merging Technologies President and CEO Claude Cellier, the transition to a universal standard may not be far off, thanks to the emergence for AES67.

That was one of the major points of the recent “How Will AES67 Will Affect the Industry” panel, held Feb. 10, at ISE 2016 in Amsterdam.

Cellier spoke with Radio magazine about what was discussed during the panel.
