SVG College Sports Summit: Six Presentations on How To Recruit, Train, and Manage Student Video Crews

Professors, athletic department personnel share their experiences and advice

Any video department within a university athletic department will attest to it: their most valuable asset is their student crews. Without students, most of what these departments do would not be possible, but properly utilizing student work can be one of the most challenging parts of the job.

At the SVG College Sports, the Sports Video Group was pleased to partner with the Broadcast Education Association to present the BEA Fast Break, a  series of rapid presentations by multiple experienced professors and athletic department personnel.

These individuals shared informative and intriguing case studies that offered best practices on engaging, training, and fostering event-production personnel, including full-time personnel and students.
