NFL Digital Media Relaunches NFL.com With New Features, Back-End Infrastructure

Just in time for the kickoff of NFL training camps, NFL Digital Media has relaunched NFL.com as part of a “league-wide digital transformation” across all the NFL’s digital products for the upcoming season. According to the league, the new NFL.com features a sleek, intuitive design informed by extensive fan research and powered by a completely new back-end infrastructure. This technology overhaul improves speed and performance across all devices, as well as fans’ ability to discover NFL.com content specific to the user’s favorite club, location, and progress of the season.

According to a post on NFL.com, NFL Digital Media will be upgrading its entire suite of products for fans to engage with the games, teams, and players through tailored experiences that will evolve with the user. New features will include an enhanced NFL.com fan profile page, optimized video across devices, and easier access to live streaming video of NFL games.

In February, veteran media exec Mary Ann Turcke was named President of NFL Digital Media and NFL Network. Turcke had served since April 2015 as President of Bell Media (a division of Bell Canada).
