…Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and NFL Network analyst Kurt Warner will join NBC Sports’ commentator Mike Tirico in the booth for a pair of NFL telecasts produced by NBC Sports later this month. A two-time NFL MVP, Warner joins Tirico and sideline reporter Heather Cox on the Chicago Bears-Detroit Lions NFC North matchup Saturday, Dec. 16 on NFL Network. Nine days later, the trio will handle the NBC Christmas Special between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans, which will also be televised by NFL Network and streamed live. Warner joined NFL Network as an analyst in 2010, following his decorated 12-year NFL career (1998-2009 with Rams, Giants, and Cardinals). Warner serves as an analyst on NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning on Sundays, and on weekdays on NFL Total Access. In addition, he has been an analyst for Westwood One coverage of Monday Night Football since 2014….

…Former NFL coach and current ESPN analyst Herm Edwards has departed ESPN to take the Arizona State head-coaching job. Edwards, 63, has spent the past nine years as an NFL analyst for ESPN. Before that, he was a head coach in the NFL for eight seasons, and he compiled a 54-74 record with the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs. (ESPN)…

…The New York Yankees announced Aaron Boone as their new manager. Boone had previously served as an ESPN MLB commentator since joining the company in 2010. Most recently, Boone had served as an analyst on Sunday Night Baseball – the exclusive, national MLB game of the week…

….Rebecca Lowe, Liam McHugh, Carolyn Manno, Ahmed Fareed, and Fred Roggin will serve as hosts for NBC Olympics coverage of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games from PyeongChang, South Korea. The Winter Olympics begin Feb. 8, 2018 on the networks of NBCUniversal. Lowe, McHugh, Manno, Fareed, and Roggin join Mike Tirico, who was named NBC’s primetime Olympics host earlier this year. Lowe will serve as the host of NBC’s daytime coverage from the International Broadcast Center in PyeongChang.  McHugh will host primetime and late night on NBCSN, and Manno will handle late night and morning hosting duties on NBCSN. McHugh and Manno will host from NBC Olympics’ set in the Gangneung Coastal Cluster, the site of the figure skating, hockey, speed skating, and curling competitions. McHugh will also host Olympic Ice, new live daily figure skating preview show on NBCSN.  Fareed will host daytime NBCSN coverage, and Roggin will host curling on CNBC – both from NBC Sports Group’s International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn.….

…On Sunday, Dec. 3, Super Bowl Champion Greg Jennings returned to Lambeau Field, where he made his broadcasting debut as an NFL game analyst on Fox (calling the game with play-by-play voice Tim Brando and sideline reporter Jennifer Hale). Jennings joined Fox Sports earlier this year as an NFL studio analyst contributing to a number of FS1 and Fox Sports studio shows, most notably as a regular guest on FS1’s First Things First, Undisputed, The Herd With Colin Cowherd and Speak For Yourself. Jennings has also appeared several times this season on Fox Sports’ FOX NFL KICKOFF pregame show…

…Blow-by-blow announcer Brendan Fitzgerald will make his FS1 debut with analyst and UFC lightweight contender Paul Felder to call UFC FIGHT NIGHT: SWANSON VS. ORGEGA live on Saturday, Dec. 9. Laura Sanko adds reports and interviews fighters on-site. Victor Davila and Brandon Moreno have the call in Spanish on FOX Deportes. Making her hosting debut on the FOX Sports desk in the Los Angeles studio is Megan Olivi, who joins analysts, Rashad Evans, former light heavyweight champion, and retired contender Kenny Florian

…Former Cleveland Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin and former Phoenix Suns front office executive Amin Elhassan have joined the roster of NBA experts on the SiriusXM NBA Radio channel. Griffin will make his debut on Tuesday, November 28 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. ET alongside host Joel Meyers and can be heard multiple times every week. Elhassan will join the roster on Sunday, December 10 and will be on regularly every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. ET with host Jason Jackson. Griffin first joined Cleveland’s front office in 2010 after spending 17 seasons with the Phoenix Suns in several front office positions, including his last three years as Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations. Elhassan left the Suns in 2012 and joined ESPN, where he serves as a columnist and NBA analyst….
