ISE 2018: Ventuz X Launches With New Graphics, Data Features

With Ventuz X, software developer Ventuz Technology is releasing its most comprehensive approach to high-end content production yet. At the center of the latest version lies a new motion graphics and data visualization workflow specifically designed for the presentation of mass data.

The new motion graphics and data viz tool in Ventuz X functions as an effect suite for the high-end visualization of mass data sources. With a new design-driven approach, it offers a wide array of graphical possibilities for dynamic, complex information, such as heat maps and point clouds. Additionally, these graphics can now be animated easily, serving for a better visual impact.

“The main focus of Ventuz X was to combine cutting-edge capabilities from the worlds of real-time motion graphics, data presentation, and live events and shows,” says Erik Beaumont, CEO of Ventuz Technology. “From concerts and arenas to broadcast graphics or digital signage, Ventuz X will be able to deliver a new breed of content – providing both the benefits of visually rich motion graphics as well as data-driven, interactive, and scalable real-time capabilities.”

Another improvement for design and visualization comes in the form of new 3D import functionalities. While the import of 3D models from other tools has been a well-liked feature in Ventuz for many years, Ventuz X allows the user to also bring in pre-rendered keyframe animations as well as camera information. This gives the opportunity to seamlessly embed animated content from 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, and similar programs into real-time presentations.

As a tool that is known for its connectivity, Ventuz X also introduces DMX support, allowing event producers to link the Ventuz real-time 3D content to any lighting desk via two-way communication. This will offer the possibility to easily choreograph the different elements of the setup as one comprehensive show. A new DMX Texture Node provides control over small LED strips and segments.

With Ventuz X, the company also enters into a new development philosophy. Instead of bundling new features in major version upgrades, Ventuz Technology will introduce new functionalities in frequent development cycles, picking up the pace and allowing the team to serve customer needs faster and more efficiently.

Ventuz X can be seen and tested on the booth of Ventuz Technology at ISE in Amsterdam, hall 8, booth number 8-K390.
