ESPN Digital No. 1 Across U.S. in Key Metrics in April

Compared to all other U.S. digital sports properties, ESPN Digital reports it was again No. 1 in April for every key metric, including unique users, total minutes and average minute audience.

ESPN Digital served 80.8 million unique fans in the U.S. in April, more than 23 million more than its nearest competitor CBS Sports (57.0 million).

ESPN Digital in April was No. 1 in the U.S. for both total minutes and average minute audience, once again more than the Nos. 2 and 3 sports properties combined (Yahoo-NBC Sports: 2.8 billion minutes and 65,655 AMA; MLB: 2.5 billion minutes and 57,228 AMA).

Short form video starts across ESPN Digital platforms totaled 778.8 million in April, up 50 percent year-over-year.

Over the last 12 months, ESPN Digital reached a higher percentage (56%) of U.S. men 18-34 on the Internet than any other digital sports property.
