2018 FIFA World Cup: VITAC Responsible for Captioning of More Than 200 Hours of Coverage

The 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup begins this week as 32 national teams play 64 games for one championship trophy, and VITAC will provide captions for all the games broadcast on Fox and Fox Sports 1 as well as Spanish-language captions for matches on Fox Deportes.

Fox plans to air 38 of the 64 matches live on the broadcast network, with the remaining matches airing on Fox Sports 1. VITAC will be captioning more than 200 hours of World Cup soccer action this month alone.

The World Cup continues VITAC’s impressive run of providing captions for this year’s biggest sporting events, including the Winter Olympic Games and Paralympic Winter Games, the Super Bowl, the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, and the NHL Stanley Cup playoffs and Winter Classic.
