wTVision Supply AR Broadcast Graphics for Multiple Sports Shows in Spain, Horse Racing

wTVision has pushed a ton of augmented reality graphics in the month of November:

AR for Multiple Sports Shows
wTVision is developing Augmented Reality solutions for multiple Spanish sports shows, showing once again its capacity to deliver virtual solutions with its own technology or integrating with a previously established workflow. wTVision is managing the Augmented Reality for seven different sports show formats, with our team of specialists perfectly adapting to each show specification.

In a collaboration with Vàlencia Imagina Televisió and the TV Channel À Punt, wTVision manages all virtual graphics for the live shows Tot Futbol and Tot Esport. All of this is done thanks to a workflow based on wTVision’s products and solutions.

The extensive project includes a PCR solution that combines wTVision’s Studio CG and R³ Space Engine (real-time 3D graphics engine). Augmented Reality graphics are generated with tracking and camera sensorization via Stype.

All on-air graphics, both on the live show and the on the video wall, are managed by wTVision. To moderate and sort social media content from Twitter and WhatsApp, wTVision provided its cloud solution Go Social, that perfectly integrates with the playout applications and generates broadcast graphics based on selected social media posts. The project also includes a solution for a screen, displayed on the video wall, for the analysis of football and basketball matches, where plays, players, and highlights are graphically analyzed, creating deeper understanding for viewers at home.

We have also been working for two shows produced by Mediapro, with sets designed by Get Set, a company that is part of the Mediapro group.

For Movistar+, wTVision is controlling and managing all the Augmented Reality thanks to its very own Studio CG. An AR ceiling with virtual video walls is present in shows like El Tercer Tiempo, Noche de Champions, or Noche de UEFA Europa League and Studio CG also controls all virtual graphics launched in the studio sets. For this project, wTVision uses three cameras tracked by Redspy with Viz Studio Manager and three VIZ engines with the AR output to cover the ceiling of the real set and the 4th wall.

The same solution is being used for the show Viva La Liga, that intends to bring all the latest updates on Spanish football to fans all over the world, in a collaboration with La Liga TV International. Studio CG controls all virtual graphics, that are tracked by Redspy with Viz Studio Manager and three VIZ engines.

New Graphic Line for Tellytrack Channels
wTVision was responsible for the rebranding of 5 Tellytrack TV Channels, one of the main TV networks dedicated to Horse racing and sports betting.

Four years after the beginning of a successful partnership with Phumelela Group, that involves the design and branding of Tellytrack as well as the data and graphics management, wTVision took on the task of creating a new graphic line for the South African network.

The primary objective was to create a more coherent design, that connected all Tellytrack channels as a powerful brand, but wTVision’s broadcast design team also developed a cleaner, fresher, and more appealing look for viewers at home.

Graphics like logos, bumpers, and lower-thirds were all redesigned in order to provide an intuitive broadcast for horse racing fans and the essential updates for all sports bettors.

Tellytrack, part of the Phumelela Group, provides the latest news on horse racing, all the tips for bets, and the highlights of races around the world.

Coverage of the Panama Primary Elections
wTVision managed graphics, data, and provided AR for four Panama’s party primary elections while preparing for the major event that will determine the country’s next President, in May of 2019.

This extensive project began on August 12, with the Partido Cambio Democrático primaries, had a second round of elections on September 16, for Partido Revolucionario Democratico, and on October 28 wTVision helped viewers find out the candidates for Partido Panameñista and FAD.

During this long period of elections, wTVision’s team developed developed the on-air graphics and Augmented Reality for the live shows from the creative and technical point of view, as well as the complete branding design for the Primary Elections nights. All Augmented Reality and on-air graphics were designed by our experienced creative team, that adjusted all designs to the different parties involved in the elections.

Elections CG, wTVision’s dedicated software that imports, manages, and transforms detailed data into high-resolution graphics, in real-time, was a vital tool to follow the statistical progress. All the official data was imported from Tribunal Electoral, the autonomous entity that oversees the electoral process in Panama, and then validated and aired.

A team of six wTVision’s specialists, from wTVision’s American and Portuguese offices, were present during all stages of the Primary Elections, making sure the right information was aired at the right time. On May 5, Panama will choose its next President and wTVision will be there providing data and graphics.
