Wave Central Completes Full RF System Installation at Guaranteed Rate Field in Chicago

Wave Central has successfully completed installing two wireless camera systems at Chicago White Sox’ Guaranteed Rate Field, replacing their previous RF system. The Wave Central Axis systems consist of AXTX3 camera back transmitters, AXRX3 8-way diversity receivers, and AXRPS remote paint control, mounted onto Panasonic AJ-HPX3100 camcorders. With eight antenna inputs, the AXRX3 receiver will provide the White Sox in-game presentation with complete camera coverage, throughout the stadium.

“These new RF systems will give the White Sox even more unique camera locations to shoot from than before,” says Wave Central Executive Vice President Anthony Sangiovanni. “The signal has been rock-solid and the client is very satisfied with their performance.”

While the White Sox are content with their coverage, future plans include adding additional antennas for even more areas they can reach with their cameras, including tailgate areas outside the stadium, for total fan experience and interaction.
