Audio-Technica (Booth C6012) is exhibiting solutions for the broadcast market: recently introduced bundles suitable for podcasters, live-streamers, and other content creators; to products for audio acquisition for mobile content creation and broadcast (ENG/EFP); wireless systems; and headphones and shotgun and lavalier mics. And the company has extended its trade-in program for 600-MHz wireless systems through March 31, 2020.

Audio-Technica’s AT2020USB+PK bundle

Four bundles have been announced. The AT2005USBPK features an AT2005USB cardioid dynamic USB/XLR microphone with ATH-M20x headphones and custom boom arm. The AT2020PK bundle has an AT2020 cardioid condenser microphone, ATH-M20x headphones, and custom boom arm. The AT2020USB+PK bundle features an AT2020USB+ cardioid condenser USB microphone, ATH-M20x headphones, and custom boom arm. The AT2035PK bundle comprises an AT2035 cardioid condenser microphone, ATH-M20x headphones, custom boom arm, and shock mount. The boom arms are pre-threaded with the appropriate USB or XLR microphone cable compatible with the included microphone for a sleek, clutter-free appearance.

On display for mobile content creation and broadcast (ENG/EFP) audio acquisition are the AT8024 stereo/mono camera-mount microphone (designed for use with DLSR, camcorders, tablets and other video cameras); System 10 camera-mount portable digital wireless systems (available in handheld, lavalier, and bodypack configurations); and the AT875R Line + Gradient condenser microphone (Audio-Technica’s shortest shotgun microphone).

Also exhibited are A-T’s wireless systems, including the fourth-generation 3000 Series, third-generation 5000 Series frequency-agile true diversity UHF wireless systems, and 6000 Series high-density wireless systems

Additionally, Audio-Technica is displaying its full range of headphones and shotgun and lavalier mics, offering users plenty of options for any type of broadcast-audio capture.

A-T technical personnel are on hand to help educate visitors on the product lines and help demo certain items in real time.

The trade-in program for 600-MHz wireless systems is designed to provide options for end users as the industry moves away from wireless systems operating in the 600 MHz band (614 to 698 MHz), mandated by law as a result of the ongoing FCC wireless-spectrum reallocation. The program is designed to help wireless users switch to a new system that accommodates the new guidelines outlined by the FCC.
