Videocites Pushes Discover Live Service for Real-time, VOD Re-streaming Detection

Videocites has officially launched its Discover Live service that automatically tracks illegal live re-streaming content on social platforms, designed to remove them ASAP. The service is based on Videocites novel video-based search engine that gets a live stream as reference and compares it to all other streams on the social platforms (or any other site) in real-time. The service is lightweight and is designed to handle any number of streams requiring a minimal latency of only a couple of minutes per stream until an illegal match is validated.

Discover Live is ML/AI technology that does not require manual searches and its ability to track, identify, and take-down is unmatched.

The service starts immediately with the event and examines every new unauthorized live stream that is uploaded at any given moment throughout the event. Once an illegal match has been detected, it is sent to the platform for immediate removal. It is a scalable, cloud-based solution to protect any amount of sports and/or other live events/broadcasts.

Thanks to the nature of the system, the service can also be utilized in order to detect illegal live streaming of past events, as well as theatrical/TV titles, on a 24/7 monitoring. Once the system gets a reference of the protected video, it continuously scans all live streams in the social platforms in order to find and take down the illegal streams.

The system also collects the available metadata from all illegal streams and performs comprehensive analytics for measuring true exposure and piracy patterns.
