French Media Group NextRadioTV Taps CONNECT’s Kybio Media for A/V Monitoring

CONNECT, a software technology company that develops and commercializes a Monitoring and Control (M&C) platform for broadcasters and media organizations, has won a project with NextRadioTV, a French media group including BFMTV and RMC. NextRadioTV will be using CONNECT’s KYBIO Media solution to supervise over 50 audio and video (A/V) equipment from their studios at their Paris headquarters. The KYBIO deployment will include integrations with products from OpenHeadend, Harmonic, Exterity, and more.

The company’s solution, KYBIO Media, is a monitoring solution that enables broadcasters to oversee an entire ecosystem, centralize data, and streamline the management of IP-enabled gear and technology; all across a single, unified web interface. Highly scalable and open, KYBIO Media plugs in to any third-party or in-house technology with open protocols and APIs, and functions on an open-driver policy. Whether broadcasters need to monitor a small or highly complex infrastructure, KYBIO Media offers scale and resiliency.

“NextRadioTV is an important player in the French audio-video landscape and we are delighted that our solution meets their needs in terms of high ease of use, speed of integration, and extensive monitoring capabilities,” says Mathieu Yerle, Director of Sales and Product Strategy at CONNECT.

“For our environment, we needed a flexible and scalable solution for monitoring. CONNECT has appeared as the ideal tool because it allows us to supervise our entire ecosystem both on the hardware side and on the quality control side of the TV and Radio streams. Scalable, easy to use and very reactive, it is a real comfort in everyday life,” says David Grimal, Technical Delivery Manager at NextRadioTV

Signed in April 2019, the deployment has been finalized over summer for a platform go live in September 2019.

Kybio Media will be showcasing at IBC, stand 5.C35, September 13 -17.
