Eurovision Services Develops Content Hub for Live Event Management

Eurovision Services has launched the Content Hub, a new way of managing live content for sports and major events.

The Content Hub was presented to customers for the first time at this year’s Sportel Monaco Exhibition this week. It builds on a number of existing services, combining them seamlessly with the best-in-class Eurovision Services Global Network, to facilitate the management of live content for content owners and rightsholders alike.

Among the benefits of the Content Hub are the ability to aggregate all live content from an event, whether it is video, audio or data, into a hub that can automatically create different feeds for different rightsholders in a “mix-and-match” format. This allows market-specific delivery that can incorporate additional state-of-the-art Eurovision Services products such as remote graphics. It also allows content owners to make full use of all live content, since this content can be packaged and delivered in any format, from a live stream to a UHD satellite feed.

“The Content Hub is the strongest example yet of the content-centric approach we bring to business at Eurovision Services,” explains Eurovision Services CEO Marco Tinnirello. “Our experience working with content owners and broadcasters has shown us that there was a need to bridge the gap between production and distribution with an easy-to-use solution for packaging and delivering live event content. The Content Hub addresses this need.”
