Videon Central’s EdgeCaster Edge Compute Encoder Brings The Falla Opera to YouTube

In Taipei, Taiwan, The Falla opera was scheduled to debut on March 21 and 22, but instead, was canceled due to COVID-19. Rather than letting hard work go to waste, APAC distribution partner, Rexcel, stepped up and provided the Opera with a Videon EdgeCaster edge compute encoder.

The event was able to be live streamed to YouTube and was delivered to a global synchronous network broadcast during the official performance.
