SVG SportsTech On Demand: Rush Media Company's Tim Eichorst on the Embracing Disruption During A Transformative Time

In an effort to keep the broadcast-technology community informed this spring, throughout April, SVG is hosting a series of SportsTech On Demand video interviews with executives from the industry’s top technology vendors discussing their latest product releases and company news. Our Jason Dachman sat down with Tim Eichorst, owner, Rush Media Company, about the company’s efforts.

Rush Media recently stayed busy during late February and early March, packaging hundreds of game productions for MLB Spring Training in Florida and Arizona, MLS matches, and college basketball tournaments. When the coronavirus pandemic shut down the sports world, Rush Media put its focus on ensuring that its freelancer community is being taken care of as much as possible. Rush Media is now working with other mobile facilities providers to create safety and sanitation standards for the production compound once live sporting events resume. Eichorst also addresses how Rush is embracing disruption and transforming itself for the altered live-production landscape that awaits once sports events resume.
