Final Games of MLB The Show 20 Players League To Be Aired on ESPN Family of Channels, FS1, MLB Network

ESPN, in conjunction with MLB and the MLBPA, will exclusively televise premiere games from the inaugural MLB The Show 20 Players League, beginning on April 23, at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The most significant games from the MLB players-only tournament will air on ESPN platforms across five dates, culminating with the best-of-five MLB The Show 20 Players League Championship Series on Sunday, May 3, at 2:30 p.m. ET. All MLB The Show 20 Players League telecasts on ESPN and ESPN2 will also be available to stream via the ESPN App.

In addition, these games will also be broadcasted on FS1 and MLB Network. The Players League is benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada with a total of $175,000 being donated across the 30 MLB Club communities.

MLB Network will broadcast select regular-season matchups this Sunday, April 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET. MLB Network will also air a one-hour MLB The Show: Recap program highlighting the latest action in the tournament on Sunday, April 26 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Following these regular-season contests, the top eight teams advance to a Playoff tournament slated for air on ESPN, ESPN2, and FS1.

The MLB The Show 20 Players League participants include five World Series Champions, 11 former MLB All-Stars, and eight MLB players 25 years old or younger. Each participant plays in a round-robin format (i.e., playing every team one time) throughout the event for a total of 29 regular-season, three-inning games. Following this regular season, the Quarterfinals begin Friday night, May 1, on FS1 with two best-of-three series. The Quarterfinals continue on Saturday, May 2, on ESPN2 and Fs1. The postseason format culminates in the best-of-five Championship Series on May 3.

  • Blake Snell, Tampa Bay Rays
  • Jeff McNeil, New York Mets
  • Bo Bichette, Toronto Blue Jays
  • Gavin Lux, Los Angeles Dodgers
  • Lucas Giolito, Chicago White Sox
  • Fernando Tatis, Jr., San Diego Padres
  • Trevor May, Minnesota Twins.
