Venue Technology Summit 2013
On October 22, more than 175 industry leaders traveled to Brooklyn for SVG’s Venue Technology Summit and a behind-the-scenes look at Barclays Center. Home of the revamped Brooklyn Nets and host to a multitude of headlining concerts and live events, the 675,000-square-ft. venue was built to cater to the modern fan, offering nearly 8,000 square feet of LED boards, a thunderous sound system, and mobile-device connectivity throughout the arena.
In addition to a full tour of Barclays Center, this year’s Summit feature perspectives of technology leaders charged with leading venues into the IP era. The Summit will also offer up a series of afternoon sessions addressing everything from the connected fan experience (in-venue apps, DAS, and WiFi) to systems integration and venue audio design.
