B2 Networks, USHL intro “B2 Power Play”

B2 Networks and the United States Hockey League today announced the introduction of “B2 Power Play”, a new service that will provide complete coverage of USHL action to fans on a worldwide basis.
Included in the “B2 Power Play” package are access to watch every game of your favorite team, free viewing of the “USHL Game of the Week” and exclusive viewing of weekly highlights. In addition to viewing on personal computers, “B2 Power Play” will be available on the new B2toGO network, allowing fans to watch the action on cell phones and wireless devices.

Today’s announcement marks two major breakthroughs in the history of the revolutionary broadband network. For the first time B2 is offering season packages allowing fans to watch all games from their favorite team regardless of where the game is being played. Those fans will have the option to be the first to watch live sports action on handheld mobile devices through the B2toGO network. This new technological breakthrough, will be extremely popular with parents who have more than one child playing sports on different teams at the same time. Fans can now be anywhere, attending any event and still watch USHL action live on their cell phone or wireless device.

“The origin of this program comes from our partnership with the USHL and the voice of the fans,” said Greg P. Bell, B2 Networks Owner and CEO. “B2 Networks has done extensive research into what our fans want and on top of the list was one price to watch all the games. In addition to the season ticket pass, team highlights, bonus games and the ability to watch from mobile devices make this a very attractive offer.”

“B2 Power Play” will be offered by individual USHL teams through team websites beginning Monday, July 17, 2006. Pricing for the new features are offered on a seasonal and monthly basis. A full season package costs $130 for the entire season, adding the B2toGO feature brings the price to $150 for the 2006-07 season. Fans wanting to subscribe on a monthly basis can do so for $20 a month with B2toGO added to the package for an additional $6.99. “B2 Power Play” will begin with the Buc Bowl in September and run through the Clark Cup playoffs. Fans interested in purchasing individual games may continue to do so for the same $6 dollar price as last season.

“The B2 Agreement for the 2005/06 season was a resounding success for the USHL,” said Gino Gasparini, USHL President. “The responses from our great fans and especially the parents and relatives of our players were nothing but positive. We are looking forward to an even greater response with this years production as it presents new opportunities and programs for our fans.”
